Construction companies building golf courses, shopping malls, hotels and Spa resorts will once again enjoy the privileges offered by the state, says SEGA quoted by CROSS.
Changes in the Regulations to the Investment Promotion Law provides a full range of bonuses for each project, which costs over EUR 50 mn and provides at least 200 jobs. The state assistance under this law begins with issuing a certificate for the investor and provides for a terrain to be given without auction and at a symbolic price, express service to be received at the counters, expenses for the installment of electricity, water, streets, etc. to be undertaken.
After the construction boom part of large scale investments, such as hotels and shopping centers, were excluded from the Promotion Act, however, it now returns to its previous state. The changes were initiated by the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism, and a public discussion will be held.
